British boxing legend David Haye will return to the ring in January for a fight against Australia’s Mark De Mori.
The boxer will face Mark De Mori at London’s The O2 arena on 16 January. It will be his first fight since 2012, where he defeated Dereck Chisora.
It’s the third time David Haye has tried to return to the ring. He was previously unable to do so because of injuries. In 2013, he forced to cancel a fight with Manual Charr due to a hand injury. A shoulder injury and a cut of the head then forced David Haye to cancel two fights against Tyson Fury.
David Haye has been training with Shane McGuigan in preparation for his comeback, who is the son of Barry McGuigan, the former world champion.
It’s set to be an exciting bout between the two boxers. Mark De Mori has only lost one fight out of 33 and David Haye is hoping to reclaim his world title that was lost in 2011.
