The Mancunian superstar boxer has been getting in shape in recent weeks and some believe the 33 year-old sports icon looks fit for a comeback. Is the former WBA welterweight, WBU, WBA and IBF light-welterweight champion making an attempt to reclaim the title?
Ricky Hatton was born in Stockport and raised on the Hattersley council estate in Hyde, Greater Manchester. He trained at the Sale West ABC (Racecourse Estate) and was educated at Hattersley High School and trained in a local boxing club in Hyde. His entrance music is the Manchester City club song "Blue Moon", as performed by the band "Supra."
