Actor Jill Halfpenny has been announced for Mike Leigh’s classic play, Abigail’s Party.

The original ‘70s play tells the story of a couple throwing a dinner party for their friends and as the dinner party develops, the characters come under scrutiny, tempers flare, and secrets are revealed leading to a dramatic ending.

Abigail’s Party is to be shown at the Menier Chocolate Factory in Southwark, southeast London and the Theatre Royal Bath.
