Dara O'Briain
Dara O’ Briain is an Irish stand-up comedian. He was born on 4th February 1972 in Bray, County Wicklow.
He has risen to fame through his appearances on ‘The Panel’ and ‘Mock the Week’ and his popularity has propelled him from 42nd greatest Stand-Up Comic in 2007, up to 16th place in 2010.
In his earlier career, Dara O’ Briain worked his way through the Irish comedy circuit and made appearances at Irish comedy festival Kilkenny Cat Laughs and the infamous Edinburgh Festival.
In 2005, Dara O’ Briain tickets were highly popular and he became the biggest selling solo show at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Always in demand to host awards and make television appearances, Dara O’ Briain has also written the book Tickling the English , given critical acclaim by TV host Terry Wogan.
