Dave Chappelle is finally treating his UK fans to a full length stand-up show in July. The US comedian will perform for a number of nights at London’s Eventim Apollo Hammersmith this summer.

Dave Chappelle’s six-night residency will start on 8 July and come to a close on 13 July. It will be the first time he’s performed in London since 2008 when he did a ten-minute routine.

About Dave Chappelle

Dave Chappelle is best known for his comedy sketch series, Chappelle’s Show. The series started in 2003 and came to end after three seasons in 2006. The show was co-written by Dave Chappelle and Neal Brennan.

Prior to Chappelle’s Show, the Washington D.C. born star pursued an acting career, which led him to roles in Mel Brooks’ Robin Hood: Men In Tights, Con Air, The Nutty Professor and Blue Streak. In 1989, Dave Chappelle took the lead role in the comedy Half Baked. It was written by himself and Neal Brennan. The pair would later go on to work together on Chappelle’s Show.

Another venture by the comedian and actor was Dave Chappelle’s Block Party. The film, which was released in 2006, was directed by Michel Gondry and saw Dave Chappelle host a party in Brooklyn. A number of famous faces took part in the project, including Kanye West, The Roots and The Fugees.

The comedian took several years off from touring after Chappelle’s Show came to an end. He returned to the comedy circuit two years ago, playing a number of shows in the US. Now, Dave Chappelle will return to the UK for his first full length headline shows. See below for available Dave Chappelle tickets and 2015 tour dates.
