Dawn French to perform first live shows in six years

Dawn French has announced her first live shows in six years. This summer she will embark on a huge UK tour, which will take place in June, July and August. It will be her first ever solo tour.
The Dawn French tour is titled 30 Million Minutes and was produced by the award-winning British theatre director Michael Grandage.

About Dawn French
Dawn French has had an extensive career as a comedian, writer and actress. She has starred in TV shows, films and on stage as well as earning seven BAFTA Award nominations and writing a bestselling novel.
Dawn French became a household name when she starred and wrote the comedy series French and Saunders with Jenifer Saunders. The show ran from 1987 – 2007 and spanned over seven series. In 2009 French and Saunders were awarded with the BAFTA Fellowship.
While starring in French and Saunders she also took the lead role in The Vicar Of Dibley, which was created by Richard Curtis. The role was written for its leading actress and aired in 1994. Dawn French was nominated for a BAFTA for the Best Comedy Performance in the The Vicar of Dibley.
She is set to tour the UK in summer 2014, which will be her first solo tour and first live shows in six years. The tour is produced by Michael Grandage and is expected to be a mixture of play, monologue and autobiographical slide show – and with lots of laughs. Dawn French tickets are expected to be in high demand to see one of Britain’s most loved comedians.
