Frankie Boyle
Frankie Boyle (full name Francis Martin Patrick "Frankie" Boyle) was born in Pollokshaws, Glasgow, Scotland in August 1972. He is a stand-up comedian famous for his dark humor and controversial performances, which have made him one of the most interesting and dynamic characters in the comedy world today.
In his early career, Frankie Boyle started out as a trainee teacher and discovered his talent for comedy by performing at The Stand Comedy Club in Edinburgh. This proved to be a platform for many other leading stand-up comedians including Michael McIntyre.
Frankie Boyle tickets for his 100-date tour of the UK in 2007 proved highly successful, and the shows were a sell-out. Fueling his cantankerous need to be recognised and remembered by the public, his 2010 tour was aptly named I Would Happily Punch Every One Of You In The Face.
Frankie Boyle also released a number of DVDs including his live stand-up act at the Hackney Empire and his second stand up show at the London Hammersmith Apollo Live 2: If I Could Reach Out Through Your TV and Strangle You I Would.
