Lady Antebellum
Lady Antebellum is the multi-awards winning trio from Nashville, Tennessee, U.S.
The trio consists of Dave Haywood (harmony singer and multi-instrumentalist); Hillary Scott (co-lead singer) and Charles Kelley (lead vocals).
The band formed in 2006 after the three friends realized that they had the passion (and talent) to match; and began writing music together. They were quickly signed to Capitol Nashville where they released their debut album Lady Antebellum (2008) which contained the smash hits "Love Don't Live Here", "Lookin' for a Good Time" and "I Run to You".
Lady Antebellum grew inspiration from other country-pop artists such as the Dixie Chicks and Martina McBride and rapidly gained momentum on the scene.
Need You Now (2010) debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and went three times Platinum. The single "I Run to You" also reached number one in the Singles Chart.
Their third studio album Own the Night (2011) has also been popular with fans with the band performing on American talent show, American Idol in 2011.
