The Streets
Mike Skinner’s The Streets return in 2011 with “Computers and Blues,” the long-awaited follow-up album to 2008’s “Everything Is Borrowed.”
“Computers and Blues” is The Streets’s 5th studio album and expected in early 2011. Mike Skinner launched his The Streets in 2001 with his debut release, “Original Pirate Material” being released the following year. The big break-through release “Let’s Push Things Forward (Feat. Kevin Mark Trail)” crashed into the Top30 and became Mike Skinner’s first big hit.
Over the next few years, Birmingham’s The Streets released the albums “A Grand Don’t Come For Free” in 2004 featuring the UK Number 1 single “Dry Your Eyes”, “The Hardest Way To Make An Easy Living” in 2006 and 2008’s “Everything Is Borrowed” and established Skinner’s infectious concoction of UK Garage, Grime, Hip Hop and Electro elements.
