Adrian Nicholas Matthews Thaws, more commonly known as Tricky, is back with new material off his latest album, ‘Mixed Race’ and a live date to showcase it all. He is bringing his trip-hop sound to London’s KOKO on 22 October. Put the date in your diaries – it’s Tricky’s only UK date!

Tricky is well known for working with Massive Attack early in his career on their 1991 debut, ‘Blue Lines.’ His own debut album, the Mercury Prize nominated, ‘Maxinquaye’ was released in 1995. ‘Maxinquaye’ scooped various awards, including ‘Album of the Year’ and proved a huge success for Tricky and is widely regarded a landmark album for trip-hop and electronic music.

Tricky’s blend of genres is key to his unique sound and his influences stretch from American hip-hop to commercial pop and Tricky keeps on experimenting and progressing on each new album. To date, Tricky has released 9 studio albums, the most recent, ‘Knowle West Boy’ came out in 2008 and fans are waiting for Tricky’s new album and new direction on ‘Mixed Race.’
