Premier League Darts is a professional darts competition with contestants from the PDC (Professional Darts Corporation). The event is held yearly at various venues. Premier League Darts is sponsored by gambling website 888.com and has previously been sponsored by brewery Holsten and Scotch whiskey company Whyte & Mackays.
Premier League Darts is televised by Sky Sports and the winner currently receives £125,000 and each contestant receiving a minimum of £25,000, with the total prize fund being £400,000. The 2011 champion is Gary Anderson from Scotland. He beat five times winning champion Phil Taylor to claim the title.
