Walking with Dinosaurs
Walking With Dinosaurs – The Arena Spectacular began in 2007 in Australia and was created by Artistic Director William May and conceived by Bruce Mactaggart.
Tim Haines, creator and producer of the original BBC series, which was seen by a worldwide audience of 700 million, serves as Project Consultant to Walking with Dinosaurs – The Arena Spectacular.
The series won a series of high-profile awards. The first show of Walking with Dinosaurs – The Arena Spectacular was shown at Sydney’s Allphones Arena and then visited five Australian cities with over 300,000 people watching the show.
The event was taken to America and travelled to 144 cities with a whopping 4 million people attending Walking with Dinosaurs. In 2009, Walking with Dinosaurs went across the world to Asia and the UK which proved highly popular, and tickets for Walking with Dinosaurs exceeded £16 million in sales.
The show returned back to its roots in 2011, and Walking with Dinosaurs tickets sold out for all 15 performances in New Zealand.
