Bloodstock Open Air Festival
Bloodstock Open Air Festival (B-O-A) is the UK’s biggest independent Metal festival. The event attracts over 12,000 visitors and takes place in Derbyshire. The festival was started by Paul Gregory and Vince Brotheridge.
Originally an indoor event which was held at the Derby Assembly Rooms, the event grew extremely popular and by 2005, relocated to a new outdoor event which it has remained today.
Big acts to have come to Bloodstock Open Air Festival have been Biffy Cyro, Alice Cooper and Motörhead.
