Creamfields Festival
Creamfields festival began way back in 1998 when super clubs such as Liverpool’s Cream (at Nation), London’s Ministry of Sound, Sheffield’s Gatecrasher and Ibiza’s Pacha were dominating the clubbing scene and DJs were able to command gigantic paychecks.
DJs such as Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyke and Ferry Corsten become synonymous with the Cream brand and propelled the DJs into super stardom.
Creamfields festival takes place on the August bank holiday in Daresbury, Cheshire and has also been at other locations in the northwest England. It has been awarded the UK Festival Awards ‘Best Dance Event’ title three times in a row.
