Electric Picnic returns for another year with headliners Florence and the Machine, Blur and Sam Smith, along with a line-up that includes body & soul, comedy, theatre, spoken word, food and, of course, music!
Electric Picnic returns to Stradbally Estate in Ireland and will take place from 4 to 6 September 2015. The three-day festival is packed with more than just music. The event includes performances from the biggest names in music, the theatre of food that celebrates all things foodie, a comedy tent, a world of art, the spoken word area and Fossett’s Circus.
2015’s Electric Picnic will be headlined by the incredible Florence and the Machine, whose headline Glasto performance went down a treat; Blur, who released their brand new album Magic Whip earlier this year; and four-time Grammy Award winner Sam Smith.
Underworld, Grace Jones, Manic Street Preachers, Interpol, Tame Impala, Hot Chip, FKA Twigs, George Ezra and many more complete the 2015 line-up.
Essential info about Electric Picnic
Electric Picnic’s campsite opens on Friday 4 September at 9am and will close on Monday 7 September at 1pm. The arena is open at 12pm on Friday and 8am on Saturday and Sunday. It will close at 4am on all nights.
The festival is held at Stradbally Estate which can be accessed via the M7, M8 and N80. Parking is free at Electric Picnic festival. There is also a shuttlebus service that runs from Dublin, Stradbally and – the nearest train station – Portlaoise Train Station.
