New addition to the bill include The Verve's Richard Ashcroft, Kinks songwriting genius Ray Davies, Gomez, Kool And The Gang, The Futureheads, Gary Numan, Bellowhead, British Sea Power, King Charles, Howling Bells, Peter Hook and the Light and Gruff Rhys from The Super Furry Animals.

Hop Farm Festival stunned the festival world last year with the announcement of Prince’s first-ever festival appearance. This year the festival that prides itself of snubbing the usual sponsorship and branding overkill has managed to put together another blinding lineup that sees exclusive UK appearances by Bob Dylan, Peter Gabriel and The New Blood Orchestra, Britpop icons, Suede headline and Damien Rice returns to his fans after a lengthy absence from performing live. The line up is a mixed bag of various styles, spawning 40 years of rock and pop music. Punk poet Patti Smith returns to Hop Farm with her band and joins Primal Scream, The Psychedelic Furs and Maximo Park on the bill.

Dr John and The Lower 911, Joan Armatrading and newcomer Lianne La Havas show the wide musical spectrum that is represented at Hop Farm Festival.

In addition to the main stage acts, revellers can enjoy up-and-coming and cutting-edge comedians on the comedy stage, stroll along to the acoustic sounds on the Buskers Boulevard and relax with a chilled beverage and snack around the Camp Acoustic Stage.
