Hop Farm Festival
Hop Farm Festival is a yearly music festival which takes place on the first weekend of July at The Hop Farm Country Park in the outskirts of Kent. Festival Republic creator Vince Power started the festival in July 2008 as a response to the growing number of sponsored and branded festivals swamping an already saturated market.
The festival focuses on music from the folk and indie scene. Hop Farm Festival originally spanned two days but was spread out over a three day period in 2011 as the event continued to grow in popularity. An extra two stages, the Bread and Roses stage and a comedy element were added to the Main Stage and Dance Stage areas.
Previous headliners include pop icon Prince, The Eagles, the legendary Bob Dylan, Mod icon Paul Weller and long-standing soul, blue and jazz sensation Van Morrison.
