About Diversity

Since stealing the limelight on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent television series the group have gone on to achieve phenomenal success.

Diversity won BGT in 2009 by beating the acclaimed singer Susan Boyle. They went on to perform at the Royalty Variety Show, which was the television series’ prize. Their slot on the prestigious Royal Variety Show was the start of huge things for the dancers from London and Essex.

The group led by Ashely Banjo went on to enjoy a number of successful tours in the UK. The shows saw the group perform their electrifying dance routines in the biggest arenas around the country.

Diversity’s other ventures

Along with their group achievements, individual members of Diversity have enjoyed huge success in their own right.

Founding member and choreographer Banjo became a judge on Sky 1’s Got To Dance for five series. A natural on television and a superb dancer, this led to the creation of the television show Ashley Banjo’s Secret Street Crew.

Perri Kiely also proved to be a favourite on television and starred on ITV’s Splash, which sees celebrities learn to dive and compete against each other. Kiely went on to be crowned the winner.
