Diversity In-depth Biography
Diversity are a street dance group formed of 11 boys with ages ranging from early teens to late twenties. The band consists of leader and choreographer Ashley Banjo and the following other members: Jordan Banjo (Ashley's younger brother), Sam Craske, Mitchell Craske, Ian McNaughton, Jamie McNaughton, Matthew McNaughton, Perri Kiely, Warren Russell, Ike Ezekwugo and Terry Smith.
Diversity shot to fame in the 2009 after performing on British talent show Britain’s Got Talent where they went on to shock the nation by beating bookies favourite singer Susan Boyle in the grand finale.
A year later, Diversity went on the hunt to find the UK’s best street dancing school and in February 2010 collaborated with the Department of Health in a street dance campaign to improve the health of the nation’s teenagers.
Diversity tickets for their first tour sold out in 24 hours and the group have went on to achieve further success by appearing on the 2010 Royal Variety Performance.
