Heroes Concert

Robbie Williams headlines the Heroes Concert put in place to help the wounded British servicemen and women and their families. Williams said he is honoured to be asked to perform and of the servicemen and women ‘Their dedication to our country is phenomenal and we are all so proud of them.’ Other acts include Gary Barlow of Take That, Tom Jones, James Blunt, Alexandra Burke, Pixie Lott, The Saturdays, Plan B and some very special guests. Also taking part are Comics Bruce Forsyth, Jack Dee and Michael McIntyre. It will be held at Twickenham Stadium in London on 12 September 2010. The charity was set up by Bryn Parry and his wife they launched it in 2007, it has many high profile trustees such as the Army Benevolent Fund and the Ministry of Defense, British newspapers The Sun have supported them immensely and The Sunday Times made H4H one of the beneficiaries of their Christmas appeal in 2007. They have held many fundraising events such as H4H Heroes Rugby Challenge and The X Factor Charity single 2008 where the contestants sang a cover of Mariah Carey’s ‘Hero.’ Heroes Concert is not only a great night out full of some amazing artists and entertainers, it also allows us to give out bit back to all the people who have been injured during service.
