About Michael Buble
The Canadian jazz and swing singer has released eight studio albums, won numerous awards, including four Grammy Awards and several Juno Awards, and toured the world earning him star status.
Before Michael Buble became known to the mainstream he produced several independent albums including BaBalu and Dream. He later rerecorded the track Dream for 2007’s Calle Me Irresponsible.
He then caught the attention of Grammy-winning producer David Foster, who owns the label 143 Records. However, David was hesitant to sign the star, initially, as it could be difficult to market Buble’s style of music.
Despite this, Michael Buble released his first album with David Foster in 2003. The self-titled album contained Michael Buble’s take on classics including Fever, The Way You Look Tonight and For Once In My Life. It was released through 143 Records/Reprise Records and became a top ten in Canada and the UK.
He followed up his first album with 2005’s It’s Time and he soon found worldwide fame with his jazz inspired albums. 2007’s Call Me Irresponsible landed Michael Buble No.1’s in the UK, America, Canada, Australia and several other European countries.
Michael Buble released Crazy Love in 2009 along with a Christmas album in 2011, titled Christmas.
His latest album, To Be Loved, was released in the UK in April 2013 and spent two weeks at No.1 on the UK Official Album Chart. The album contains a mixture of covers and originals. The album’s first single, It’s A Beautiful Day, is one of the four songs written by Michael Buble and his team of writers including Alan Chang and Amy Foster.
Along with his success as a recording artist, Michael Buble has proved that he’s not to be missed in concert. He’s known for his stunning live performances mixed with his warm humour and charm.
Michael Buble is currently on his fifth concert tour, To Be Loved, which is in support of his album of the same name. The world tour started with a residency at London's The O2 in 2013, where Michael Buble tickets sold out.
