Jerez is beautifully located in the slight valley in the south of Spain, guaranteeing exceptional scenery and exceptional weather conditions for pretty much all the time.
The circuit was constructed in 1986 with the first Grand Prix taking place one year later, Jerez has established itself as the most popular MotoGP location amongst teams and motor racing fans. Throughout the year Jerez remains one of the first choices with many racing teams as test facility.
The recent facelift to the media complex and corporate facilities, as well as control tower and the pit boxes have only fostered the status of this superb 250,000 capacity racetrack in the motorsport world.
