Czech MotoGP
With the aim to attract Formula 1 racing to Czechoslovakia, the purpose-built Automotodrom Brno builds on the region’s tradition in motorsport.
Built into a natural bowl and constantly changing altitude, the circuit boasts an astonishing scenery, while banked places offer spectators excellent views on the breathtaking action taking place on the concrete. Its fast undulating corners test rider talent and engineering to their limit.
Since the 1930’s races in Brno took place on public roads on both, the East and Western side of the city.
It has been popular with both fans and riders, ever since the Automotodrom Brno was opened in 1987, playing host to the FIM Czech Grand Prix.
