Dawn French to perform first live shows in six years
Dawn French announces her first ever solo tour that will visit venues across the UK this summer.

The Vicar of Dibley star will embark on her first ever solo tour in 2014 throughout June, July and August.

The tour, 20 Million Minutes, will be the first time that Dawn French has performed on stage in six years and was produced by award-winning British theatre director Michael Grandage.

The tour kicks off in Sheffield on 5 June and runs for over 40 dates across the UK. Dawn French said that the shows will be a mixture of play, monologue and autobiographical slide show but there will also be lots of laughs throughout.

Dawn French made her name in the hit comedy series French and Saunders, which she wrote with Jenifer Saunders, and then went on to star in The Vicar of Dibley.

Dawn French tickets go on sale on Friday 28 February 2014.
