Michael McIntyre Discusses The Voice on Chatty Men
Top comedian Michael McIntyre discussed his recent appearance on Alan Carr’s chat show - Chatty Men, when he failed to make his audience laugh with jokes about the BBC1 talent show, The Voice.

The mega star who sells out arenas with his hit show Michael McIntyre's Comedy Road show spoke of his attempts to make jokes at the show and said “I had a load of jokes about The Voice when it started. I was quite excited about those jokes, but nobody cares about them now.

“I say to my audiences, "Are you watching The Voice?" They are like, "No". They don't laugh at the jokes.” Speaking candidly to chat show host funny man Alan Carr, Michael McIntyre explained to Carr that people had quickly lost interest in the format of the talent show and that even any jokes he made, fell flat on their feet.

Even Alan Carr was quick to make a joke over the low viewing figures for the voice by saying “The Voice has even been beaten by Planet Earth Live. So perhaps for series two the BBC should combine the two and just film badgers having sex in revolving chairs. I'd watch.”

Michael McIntyre recently announced extra dates for his 2012 UK and Ireland Tour. You can get tickets to see him in action from GET ME IN! Buy your Michael McIntyre tickets on Ticketmaster’s GET ME IN! ticket market.
