Sam Smith on track for number one album
Sam Smith is set to become this week’s No.1 with his debut album In The Lonely Hour.
Sam Smith released his debut album In The Lonely Hour on May 26 and, according to the Official Charts Company, he is on track to becoming this week’s No.1 album.

The Official Charts Company reported that In The Lonely Hour is outselling Coldplay’s Ghost Stories by 20,000 copies on the midweek charts.

Sam Smith is not unfamiliar with reaching the elusive top spot after his single Stay With Me became his third UK No.1 single last Sunday following in the footsteps of Money On My Mind; his first single from In The Lonely Hour.

This summer the singer-songwriter will perform at several festivals throughout the UK before embarking on his headline tour in October. Sam Smith tickets are now on sale.
