Sam Smith reclaims top spot in UK Albums Chart
Sam Smith returns to of the top of the UK Albums Chart with his debut album In The Lonely Hour.

The singer’s album initially debuted at No.1 following its release in June 2014 but after 15 weeks in the charts it has reclaimed the top spot.

In The Lonely Hour contains Sam Smith’s chart-topping singles Stay With Me and Money On My Mind along with I’m Not The Only One, which is currently No.5 in the UK Singles Chart.

Elsewhere in the charts, Royal Blood’s self-titled debut moved into second place after topping the charts last week and Ed Sheeran’s X went into third place. The Top 5 was rounded off by Maroon 5, who’s fifth album that took the fourth position, and George Ezra ‘s Wanted On Voyage.

Following the chart success, Sam Smith announced a series of spring European tour dates that will include eight gigs in the UK.

The 22-year-old singer is set to embark on his first full tour of the UK in October. The tour will include 11 dates around the UK starting in Glasgow on 23 October. Tickets are now on sale for Sam Smith’s autumn tour while 2015 tickets will be available from Wednesday 10 September.
