Sam Smith stays at top of charts for second week
Sam Smith’s In The Lonely Hour has remained at the top of the UK Albums Chart for the second week.

In The Lonely Hour reclaimed the top spot the previous week after being in the charts for fifteen weeks and initially debuting at No.1.

The album is Sam Smith’s debut and includes the hits Stay With Me and Money On My Mind along with the track I’m Not The Only One, which moved up two places to No.3 in the singles chart. The single is his fourth to be taken from the album and he recently teamed up with the rapper A$AP Rocky to create a new version of I’m Not The Only One.

Meanwhile in the UK Albums Chart, Robert Plant’s Lullaby and The Ceaseless Roar was this week’s highest new entry at No.2 while chart regular Ed Sheeran took third position with X. Royal Blood’s self-titled debut and George Ezra’s Wanted On Voyage rounded off the Top 5.

Last week, Sam Smith announced a spring UK tour in support of the album starting in Glasgow on 16 March. The tour will continue with dates in Manchester, Wolverhampton and end with three shows at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.

The tour follows on from Sam Smith’s 11-date tour that will take place across the UK in October and November. Tickets are now on sale for both tours.
