Sam Smith set to reclaim UK No1
Sam Smith is on track to regain the No.1 spot on the UK albums chart with his debut release In The Lonely Hour.

The Stay With Me singer is leading the UK charts in the midweek update ahead of current chart-leader George Ezra, Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran, according to Official Charts.

If Sam Smith regains his lead it will be his fifth non-consecutive week at the top of the charts. His album, In The Lonely Hour, has surpassed a million sales in both the UK and US.

The midweek chart update is as follows: Sam Smith – In The Lonely Hour (1), George Ezra – Wanted On Voyage (2), Ed Sheeran – X (3), Taylor Swift – 1989 (4), Olly Murs – Never Been Better (5).

Sam Smith’s collection, which was released in May 2014, includes his hit singles Stay With Me, Money On My Mind and I’m Not The Only One.

In support of the album, the 22-year-old singer will tour the UK during March. The nine-date tour will include gigs in Glasgow, Manchester, Wolverhampton and London with tickets on sale here.
