Winter Troubles Continue For England Captain
England Cricket Captain Andrew Strauss has expressed his frustration with the current form of the England Cricket team.

He said: “I hate my players having to come out and defend me; as a captain you want to feel that you are one of the first names on the teamsheet, so that has been very frustrating. But I was so determined, and feel very determined to take the team further.”

In the last test series, England beat Sri Lanka by 8 wickets at Colombo on Day 5 of 5 of the Test Match Series which took place 3rd April 2012, but Strauss has failed to score since the first Ashes Test in November 2010.

The England Cricket team has come under fire for underperforming, but it looks like it will take more than words to stop the team giving up. He added, after the team’s recent success in Colombo, “What Colombo has taught me is how much gas there is left in the tank yet,” he added. “There are countless examples of players who have timed their run late to re-establish their credentials.”
