Bowling for Soup to play Download festival plus more acts announced
Download regulars, Bowling for Soup, will play Download festival in 2014 along with Black Label Society, Flogging Molly and more.

Bowling for Soup has been announced as the latest edition to the Download festival 2014 line-up with the likes of Opeth, Bad Religion and Phil H. Anselmo and The Illegals also on the list.

Download festival revealed yesterday that along with Bowling For Soup, The BossHoss, Skid Row, Tesla, Bury Tomororw, Danger Danger, Powerman 5000, Huntress, The Graveltones and Anti-Mortem would join headliners Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park and Aerosmith.

Lead singer of Bowling for Soup, Jaret Reddick said to Download festival, “We are really stoked to be coming back to Download this year…first and foremost, our little band turns 20 this June, so what better way to celebrate! Music, beer and Portaloos!

“Also, it's a great opportunity to show our amazing UK fans that, although we don't have plans to tour any time soon, they will still get to see our pretty faces once in a while. Can. Not. Wait!”

Bowling for Soup have played the festival previously in 2004, 2005, 2007 and last played in 2011. Download festival takes place on 13 – 15 June 2014 at Donington Park. Tickets for the festival are on sale now.
