Alexisonfire reunite for Reading and Leeds festival
Alexisonfire will reunite to play a number of festivals this summer including Reading and Leeds in the UK.

The Canadian group confirmed that Reading and Leeds Festival will be their exclusive European festival show joining Mumford & Sons and the Libertines on the line-up.

Alexisonfire will play the main stage at Reading on Saturday and Leeds on Sunday. The days will see Metallica headline the festival and performances from Royal Blood, Bring me the Horizon and Pierce the Veil.

Their festival slot will be the band’s first gig in the UK since December 2012 when they headlined the O2 Academy Brixton to mark their 10th anniversary.

Alexisonfire – who are George Pettit, Chris Steele, Wade MacNeil, Dallas Green and Jordan ‘Ratbeard’ Hastings – have released four albums throughout the years. Their self-titled debut came in 2001, which was followed by Watch Out (2004), Crisis (2006), and Old Crows/Young Cardinals (2009).

Reading and Leeds festival takes place over the August bank holiday weekend from Friday 28 – Sunday 30 at Reading’s Richfield Avenue and Leeds’ Bramham Park. Tickets are now on sale here.
