The Strokes got the party started at the British Summer Time Festival last night with support from Beck and Future Islands.
The party at the annual British Summer Time Festival in London was in full swing last night as The Strokes took to the main stage following performances from Beck, Future Islands and Temples.
The Indie favourites played Is This It, Welcome To Japan and Last Night, before closing their set with New York City Cops. The band returned to the stage to treat fans to Juicebox, You Only Live Once and Take It Or Leave It.
The festival, which is held each summer in London’s Hyde Park, continues tomorrow night with headliners Blur. They will be joined by Metronomy, The Horrors and more.
British Summer Time Hyde Park takes place until Sunday 28 June. The festival programme includes headline performances from Taylor Swift, The Who and Kylie Minogue.
Throughout the week comedians, including Jim Jefferies, will take over the main stage. The annual event will end with their popular family event, which sees performances from Union J, Justin Fletched and Collabro.
