Drake opens New Look Wireless festival
29 Jun 2015
Drake kicked-off the 2015 Wireless celebrations last night with a special concert ahead of the three-day festival.
London’s Finsbury Park was teaming with Drizzy fans last night (Sunday 28 June) as Drake took to the stage to mark 10 years since the first Wireless festival. The day was jam-packed with an array of artists, including Rita Ora, Katy B and Chance The Rapper.
Drake’s set earned the rapper huge praise, including a four-star review from the Telegraph. They said, “Drake’s ability to rap as well as sing his often affecting, melancholic hooks makes him a complete artist, something that is especially hard to contest when you see him live.”
Drake will return to Finsbury Park on Friday where he will headline the main festival, which takes place until Sunday 5 July.
Avicii, Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj and David Guetta will co-headline the festival on Saturday 4 July and Sunday 5 July, respectively. A$AP Rocky, Major Lazer Mary J Blige, Knife Party and many more will also perform over the weekend.
Tickets are now on sale here, via the official resale partner for Wireless Festival 2015, including day, two day and three day tickets.
