Adam Lambert to play Fusion Festival
Adam Lambert has joined Birmingham’s Fusion Festival line-up, which will be his first UK festival appearance.

The Ghost Town singer has been confirmed to play Fusion Festival, which takes place at Birmingham’s Cofton Park, on 30 August.

The singer will perform alongside McBusted, The Vamps, Jess Glynn and more, and his appearance at the event will be the first time he will perform at a UK festival.

Fusion Festival takes place over three days and will see Ed Sheeran headline day one (Friday 28 August) after original headliner, Justin Bieber, was forced to cancel. Rudimental will headline the event on Saturday 29 August.

Adam Lambert tweeted about the festival, “So excited to play my first UK festival @fusionfest on Sunday August 30th.”

The American singer – who rose to fame on American Idol – released The Original High in June. Fans can expect to hear tracks from his latest release, such as Ghost Town.

Adam Lambert was last in the UK at the start of the year when he toured the country with Queen. He also brought in the New Year with the band by performing at London’s Big Ben, which brought rave reviews from critics and fans alike.

The singer joins an array of acts on Fusion Festival’s 2015 line-up such as Tinie Tempah, Rixton, Lambrinth, Ella Eyra and Fuse ODG. Fusion Festival day and weekend tickets are now on sale.
