Your guide to Reading Festival
Reading Festival is upon us, coming to Richfield Avenue on the 28-30 August, and what better way to spend your bank holiday weekend than to catch three unforgettable days of all your favourite live acts in one place.

Reading is loved across the festival circuit because of its stellar line-ups; there really is something for everyone. This year boasts an impressive set of festival goodness, including The Libertines, Kendrick Lamar, Django Django and Metallica, among a few. This might just be the festival all of your mates can finally agree on.

So that you get the most out of your ticket and your precious bank holiday, we’ve put together a list of must see acts at this year’s Reading Festival.

1. Jamie XX: With In Colour being the album of the summer, this is a live album in every sense and needs to be danced to. With solo shows selling out in minutes, the chance to catch him live at a festival is big!

2. Run The Jewels: Get messy with rap powerhouse Run The Jewels, reaping a reputation for delivering an intense, unrestrained and explosive live show.

3. Tyler, The Creator: There is always a mosh pit. If you want to mosh, it’s here you will find mosh-a-plenty.

4. Parquet Courts: Delivering manic, psychedelic and punchy live shows, you might hear something completely new, a band well worth discovering this year.

5. Kendrick Lamar: Playing songs from his recent album, To Pimp A Butterfly. So many songs translate to a live performance effortlessly, expect a feel good performance all round.

6. Royal Blood: Experience the titanic sounds of Royal Blood up close; they will be unforgettable. If you saw them last year, you know what to expect.

7. Lady Leshurr: Off the cuff, but a fantastic anomaly worth fore fronting all the same, UK grime MC who has released her forthcoming EP Queen of the Scene, on her own, avoiding the lure of US labels and their girl marketing antics – show some support this weekend!

That about wraps it up, but don’t miss out on the many fantastic acts this festival delivers. And if you need tickets, you can now purchase yours from GET ME IN! – The official Reading and Leeds resale partner.
