Summer Festivals Move To Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
Although the summer may seem a far cry away, with all the snow and ice, festival preparations are already underway; with plans confirmed to move Hard Rock Calling and Wireless Festival to the new Queen Elizabeth Park in Stratford.

John Reid President of Concerts at Live Nation Europe confirmed that a number of concerts were going to held in the grounds of the newly developed Olympic grounds of east London:

“We are delighted to be staging music concerts at the London Olympics venue, which last year became a globally-recognized site for outstanding performances – both in sport and music. Over the coming weeks, we intend to announce some major concerts with world-renowned artists, to firmly establish the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park as the centerpiece for great live music in Europe.”

The news will be a welcome relief for the thousands of festival goers that were left disappointed when Bruce Springsteen and his E-Street Band were cut off after organisers pulled the plug after his set overran, and the park got water logged in a decidedly wet British summer.

You can get all Wireless festival tickets including all major festival tickets on Ticketmaster’s GET ME IN! ticket market when they go on sale.
