Hard Rock Calling returns in 2013 and has announced Kasabian and Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band as this year’s headline acts.
Bruce Springsteen has headlined the popular inner-city festival on several occasions and never failed to deliver a blinding set. Last summer’s show made all the wrong headlines after authorities cut-off Bruce Springsteen while dueting with British rock icon, Sir Paul McCartney mid-song for running over their allocated time.
The Boss and the event organisers have since made up and as consequence Hard Rock Calling has moved venue and for the first time will not take place at Hyde Park but at the newly built Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, East London.
Taking place on the weekend 29th & 30th June, the 2-day festival sees the likes of Paul Weller, Miles Kane, Klaxons, The Cribs, Kodaline and Tribes opening for Kasabian on the first afternoon. The Black Crows and Alabama Shakes are confirmed to be on the same bill as Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street band on Sunday.
Many more acts will be confirmed over the next weeks and months leading up the rock spectacle.
