Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett announce second London show

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett will perform for a second time at London’s Royal Albert Hall during June 2015.
The duo are to perform at the venue on Tuesday 9 June 2015 following their concert on Monday 8 June. The first of their two shows is in support of the charity WellChild.
The evening will see Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett perform tracks from their acclaimed album Cheek to Cheek and the pair will be joined by a full orchestra and special guests.
Their album went to No.1 in the US and cemented Tony Bennett’s status as the oldest music star to have a top-charting record in the US.
Cheek to Cheek also gave Lady Gaga her third consecutive No.1 in the US following her latest solo album Artpop. The collaborative record is a collection of classic jazz standards cover by Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett.
The songs which feature on Cheek to Cheek range from Anything Goes to Lady Gaga’s solo of Lush Life and Tony Bennett’s Sophisticated Lady. The album was recorded in New York and features a number of acclaimed jazz artists from Joe Lovano to Brian Newman and members of Tony Bennett’s quartet.
Tickets for Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett’s concert on Tuesday 9 June go on general sale on Friday 7 November while tickets are now on sale for their concert on Monday 8 June.
