Josh Groban lands first UK No1 with Stages
Josh Groban has earned his first UK No.1 with Stages; a collection of Broadway covers.

The American singer has climbed to the top of the UK Albums Chart for the first time with his seventh studio album, Stages.

The album is a collection of classic Broadway tracks from Les Miserables’ Bring Him Home to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’s Pure Imagination. The record follows 2013’s All That Echoes, which charted at No.9 in the UK.

The albums chart continues with The Ultimate Collection by Paul Simon (2), Ed Sheeran’s X (3), Sam Smith’s In The Lonely Hour (4) and James Bay’s Chaos And The Calm.

Last week tickets for Josh Groban’s tour of the UK went on sale. The singer will perform for just three nights at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall, Birmingham’s Symphony Hall and London’s Eventim Apollo. Tickets can be purchased here.
