London Grammer win Ivor Novello Award
London Grammar have won this year’s coveted Best Song Musically and Lyrically award at the Ivor Novello Awards.

The 3-piece band took home the prestigious award for their track Strong at The 59th Ivor Novello Awards beating John Newman with his Love Me Again and Palma Violets’ Best Of Friends.

Strong was released in September 2013 and is from London Grammar’s debut album If You Wait.

Past winners of the prestigious award include Lily Allen in 2010 with her track The Fear, Ed Sheeran’s The A Team in 2012 and Amy Winehouse’s Love Is A Losing Game in 2008.

London Grammar will promote their debut album throughout the summer with numerous shows and festival appearances, including gigs in Plymouth, London and Wolverhampton in June.
