The Vamps win big at Attitude Awards
The Vamps landed their first ever award at the 2014 Attitude Awards on Monday night.

The British boy band took home the award for Best Group at this year’s Attitude Awards, making it their first ever award.

On receiving the award they said, “This is weird, we’ve never won an award before. We’ve only been around for like a year and a half, so this is very surreal for us,” The gong was presented to the group by X Factor’s Tulisa.

The annual award ceremony celebrates those who have had an impact on Attitude magazines’ readers during the last year.

Also celebrated at the event was Paloma Faith who received the Music Award and diver Tom Daley who was bestowed the prestigious Man of the Year prize.

Despite only being around for over a year, The Vamps have already enjoyed four consecutive Top 5 singles along with seeing their debut album, Meet The Vamps, rocket to No.2 on the Official Albums Chart.

In support of Meet The Vamps the boys are to embark on their biggest headline tour of the UK and Ireland during April and May 2015. The tour across the country will see The Vamps headline arenas with support from Union J. Tickets go on general sale on Saturday 18 October.
