Dalai Lama visits London to give public address

His holiness the Dalai Lama will visit London’s The O2 this September to give a talk about compassion.
The Noble Peace Prize winner will be at The O2 in London on 19 September. The talk, Compassion: The Foundation of Well-Being, will draw on the Dalai Lama’s life experience.
The Dalai Lama said of his visit, “Compassion is a marvel of human nature, a precious inner resource and the foundation of our well-being and the harmony of our societies.”
The public address will explore the idea of compassion and a how a great understanding of it can help everyday lives. The talk will be based on the Dalai Lama’s experience as well as his experience in mediation.
The news of the show follows his appearance at Glastonbury festival where he gave a talk about happiness and joined Patti Smith on stage who helped him celebrate his 80th birthday.
