Stone Roses Festival Rumours
The Stone Roses are back and are ready to take on the world and media.

During yesterday’s press conferences where the Mancunian four-piece announced their long awaited comeback, Stone Roses’ frontman Ian Brown took a stab at the delegate from the Daily Mail newspaper.

"Let me ask you a question,” he poked, “What's it feel like to write for a newspaper that used to support Adolf Hitler?" Brown went on asking if he ever voted Tory. Denying Brown’s question, the singer then retorted, "No one ever votes Tory, do they?"

Ian Brown’ s got his swagger back and seems to be “Made of Stone” once again.

The first comeback live dates for The Stone Roses are two massive homecoming shows on the 29th and 30th June 2012 at Manchester’s Heaton Park. The band revealed they would embark on a World Tour afterwards.

Ian Brown’s “favourite” newspaper, The Daily Star reports today, a promoter is trying to book a third UK date in Scotland. Unconfirmed reports also hint at headline appearances at next year’s V Festival and Phoenix Festival.

The Stone Roses tickets for the confirmed shows at Heaton Park go on sale this Friday, 18th October.
