Gary Barlow To Play Solo Concert In London
25 Oct 2011
Take That frontman Gary Barlow is set to perform two solo shows at the London Royal Albert Hall in aid of the Prince’s Trust Foundation this December.
These shows are Gary Barlow’s first official solo concerts for 11 years, excluding stepping in at the last minute as replacement headliner for Radio 2’s “Live in Hyde Park” this summer.
Barlow, who has made a name for himself in his own right appearing as a judge on the X Factor, says that The Prince’s Trust in particular is one which is very close to his heart
“It’s really important to me,” explains the Take That star, “that disadvantaged young people get the support they need, especially at the moment.”
This will not be Barlow’s only charity venture this year. He has also organised a string of mega stars such as Coldplay, Lady Gaga and Michael Buble to appear at the “Children in Need Rocks Manchester” concert at the MEN Arena this November.
Gary Barlow tickets for the two London Royal Albert Hall concerts will be available this Friday from Ticketmaster’s GET ME IN! ticket marketplace. Up-and-coming newcomer, The Pierces will open on both nights in London.
