The Saturdays Kick Off Xmas In London

All-girl pop sensation, The Saturdays will be switching on the Christmas lights on Oxford Street.
The iconic lights display is famous around the globe and Oxford Street’s annual Christmas lights spectacular attracts millions of customers from around the world.
The switch on will be taking place outside Marks & Spencer at the Marble Arch end of Oxford Street and The Saturdays will also perform their latest single, “My Heart Takes Over”
“London’s iconic Oxford Street lights will capture the imagination of the tens of millions of visitors over the Christmas period to the West End,” says Jace Tyrell of the New West End Company. “(This includes) international shoppers coming from as far as China, Russia, Japan, Brazil and Thailand for a quintessentially British Christmas.”
Switching on Oxford Street’s Christmas lights has a long tradition and The Saturdays join an elite group that in recent years has included luminous names such as Leona Lewis, The Sugababes, Westlife and the Spice Girls.
It will be a welcomed break for The Saturdays girls. The band is set to hit the road with their forthcoming UK tour launching on 2nd December in Bournemouth.
