Iron Maiden Final Frontier Tour Comes To The UK

With their chart-topping 15th studio album, “The Final Frontier” out, British Heavy Metal legends, Iron Maiden announce their 2011 UK arena tour.
The UK dates in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Newcastle, Sheffield, Nottingham, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, Belfast and London are part of Iron Maiden’s mammoth “The Final Frontier World Tour 2010 / 2011,” which has taken the band in their private “Ed Force One” jet over 55,000 miles across 13 countries around the globe.

Formed in 1975 in East London, Iron Maiden were soon to become one of the leading bands of the then burgeoning ‘New Wave of British Heavy Metal‘ scene alongside Saxon, Motörhead, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin. The big breakthrough arrived in 1982 with the multi-Platinum certified album, “The Number of the Beast.”
During a career spanning 35 years, Iron Maiden have scooped numerous awards, including the illustrious BRIT and Metal Hammer Awards. Iron Maiden’s current line-up includes Bruce Dickinson, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, Janick Gers, Steve Harris and Nicko McBrain.
