Take That Set For Xmas Number 1 After XFactor Live Appearance
15 Nov 2010
Take That thrilled last night’s X Factor audience when the boyband veterans played their first TV live performance as freshly reunited 5-piece with Robbie Williams back in the line-up.
Robbie Williams and band mates, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Mark Owen followed JLS as last night’s show headliner with a performance of Take That’s latest single, “The Flood” off the heart-throbs new album, “The Progress.” 14.5 million viewers in the UK watched last night’s X Factor with the Take That live return as the grand finale.
“The Progress” is this year’s biggest pre-order release and is hotly tipped as this year’s Xmas Number 1 album. If the recent demand for Take That tickets is anything to go by, “The Progress” could become Take That’s fastest-selling album ever in the band’s history.
Take That tickets for the band’s long-awaited reunion concerts with Robbie Williams went on sale 2 weeks ago and the unprecedented demand broke ticket sales-records as well as ticket Websites, which collapsed under the strain when fans tried to get the hottest tickets in music history. At the end, a staggering 1 million Take That tickets had sold in 24 hours on the day.
Ticketmaster’s ticket marketplace, GET ME IN! still has Take That tickets for all the band’s 2011 UK dates. Get them while you can!
