Kings of Leon to headline Isle of Wight Festival 2011

The mighty Kings of Leon have been announced alongside reunited Britpop legends, Pulp as one of the headliners for the 13th Isle of Wight Festival. The festival is taking place on the picturesque British isle between 10th – 12th June 2011. Tickets for this popular festival are going on sale on Friday, 19th November 2010 from 9am (GMT).
The Isle of Wight Festival first opened its doors between 1968 and 1970 and saw legendary performances by Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan and Mark Bolan’s T.-Rex.
The Isle of Wight Festival appearance is part of the Kings of Leon massive UK and European tour, which sees the Followill brothers play their biggest UK shows to date.
Kings of Leon arrive in the UK this December for 7 sold-out arena shows and return in June for 6 massive open-air concerts, including the Isle of Wight Festival headline appearance. The complete Kings of Leon tour dates for the UK are:
