X Factor Semi Final 2010 With Glee Cast
30 Nov 2010
X Factor is gearing up for the anticipated, adrenalin-pumping semi-final on Sunday, 5th December with the remaining 6 contestants now competing to reach the X Factor final.
Who will make it to the last stage? Still in the game are Byrne, Cher Lloyd, Rebecca Ferguson, Matt Cardle and boyband, One Direction.
The show sees special performances by members of the original Glee cast, performing for the first time on UK television.
Last Sunday saw X Factor’s most controversial contestants, 24-year old Katie Waissel and Wagner Carrilho, 54, voted off the show. Katie Waissell received the least votes by the viewers, while Wagner Carrilho lost after a sing-off against fellow contestant Byrne. Wagner performed Nat King Cole’s “Unforgettable” and Byrne performed the Shirley Bassey classic “This Is My Life.”
This year’s X Factor contestants found themselves topping the UK charts before the show’s final. The all-star group hit the top spot with 144,000 sold copies of their cover of David Bowie’s “Heroes” recorded exclusively for the Help For Heroes charity in aid of armed forces.
